Durasein premium acrylic solid surface is the latest product to join the portfolio of IDS, offering interior designers a world class, design-led brand to work with that is available ex-stock, guaranteeing no extended lead times.
Through IDS, Durasein offers a range of 39 designs and colours selected specifically for the UK and Ireland markets. The palette spans plain and particle-based whites, accent colours, concretes as well as several on-trend marble and stone effects.
Suitable for a diverse range of domestic, retail, hotel and leisure applications, the material has immense versatility when creating bathroom vanity units, washroom troughs, kitchen worksurfaces, displays, furniture, counter tops, and cash and wrap desks. Unlike any other material, solid surface has the unrivalled ability to be seamlessly jointed, cut, shaped, thermoformed and moulded for use on horizontal and vertical applications.

Designs such as Nightfall, Lava and Driftsand look like real stones and sandstone, yet being a man-made material, solid surface has the advantages of seamless jointing and high- performance technical qualities.
The entire Durasein collection of 39 décors is available ex-stock from IDS as standard in sheet size of 3660mm x 760mm x 12mm. However, for ultimate design flexibility customers can also access these designs in a further four sheet sizes and five thicknesses, as well as a colour matching service on a MOQ basis.
Recognising white solid surface as the most popular choice of colour, IDS is stocking solid white for immediate delivery in exceptional depth and breadth, including the Knight White décor which gives a white onyx aesthetic. There are six thicknesses ranging from 3mm to 25mm, five widths up to 1520mm and three lengths of 2000, 3660 and 4100mm
to give customers the flexibility of value engineering.
