Surface materials specialist distributor IDS has strengthened its partnership with global acrylic solid surface manufacturer Durasein, with the launch of an enhanced ex-stock range tailored to the design needs of the UK market.
Coinciding with a full rebrand, IDS will now offer 20 additional Durasein decors, taking the total number of designs in the range up to 60 – all of which are stocked in depth in the UK and available for nationwide delivery in 24-48 hours.
Durasein boasts over 20 years of manufacturing expertise and operates in over 40 countries worldwide. IDS first formed an exclusive distribution agreement with the manufacturer in 2019 to offer a specially selected range of solid surface product for the UK and Ireland markets. The latest product development further extends the UK specific offer in response to current market trends, broadening the design scope for a diverse customer base including fabricators, kitchen and bathroom retailers and designers.
The enhanced Durasein collection includes a range of curated styles, shades and colours spanning luxurious onyx, concrete and marble effects, plus plain and particle-based whites and accent colours. New additions include four decors created specifically for IDS which respond to the needs of the UK market: Blanca Carrera, an elegant marble design featuring distinctive veining; Sandstone, a warm organic flecked décor; Fossil, a soft grey concrete design; and Blush, a muted concrete design with a subtle pink hue. The enhanced range also offers a newly updated collection of sleek and stylish cast sinks and bowls for kitchens and bathrooms, all manufactured in-house by Durasein.

The entire Durasein range is stocked in a standard sheet size of 12mm x 3660mm x 760mm, with the most popular whites available in additional thicknesses ranging from 3mm to 25mm and sheet sizes of 1270mm to 1520mm. Other decors are available in these additional formats on a MOQ basis and lead time.
